  • Hawaiian Sweet Bread Banana Bread

    Tropical Hawaiian-Style Banana Bread with Sweet Bread Texture

    Ingredients:

    3 ripe bananas, mashed

    1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

    1/2 cup sugar

    1/4 cup brown sugar, packed

    1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted

    2 large eggs

    1 teaspoon vanilla extract

    1 teaspoon baking soda

    1/2 teaspoon salt

    1/2 cup crushed pineapple, drained

    1/4 cup coconut milk

    1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

    Optional: 1/2 cup chopped macadamia nuts or walnuts

    Directions:

    Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x5-inch loaf pan.

    In a large bowl, mash bananas until smooth. Stir in melted butter, sugar, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and coconut milk until well combined.

    In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.

    Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring just until combined. Fold in crushed pineapple and nuts if using.

    Pour batter into prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.

    Bake for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

    Let bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
