Sticky Korean BBQ Wings with Sesame and Scallions
Ingredients:
2 lbs chicken wings, split and tips removed
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
For the Korean BBQ Sauce:
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons rice vinegar
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon gochujang (Korean chili paste)
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon grated ginger
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon water
Garnish:
1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
2 green onions, thinly sliced
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment or foil and place a wire rack on top.
