An elderly Pennsylvania man called Mervin Raudabaugh turned down an offer of more than $15 million to sell his land to data center developers.
“I was not interested in destroying my farms,” Raudabaugh, who has spent roughly 60 years farming in Silver Spring Township, told a news station. “That was the bottom line. It really wasn't so much the economic end of it. An upstate New York high school teacher was allegedly sidelined after she agreed to advise a Turning Point USA chapter on campus.
“The district can confirm that a staff member has been placed on paid administrative leave while a matter is under review.
