Jordan Hauenschild, a 26-year-old from Queensland, Australia , discovered an unexpected love story while scrolling Instagram late at night . She came across Pitiuruk, a 24-year-old man living deep in the Amazon jungle in Ecuador . Out of curiosity, she messaged him—and soon, they were talking every day .

After four months, Jordan made a life-changing decision. She quit her job, packed her bags, and traveled over 30 hours to meet him. The journey included multiple flights and a long ride into the jungle .

When she arrived, Pitiuruk’s family welcomed her warmly , saying, “Our jungle is your jungle.” She embraced a new life—waking to drums , cooking, exploring by canoe , and even playing with monkeys .

Her story went viral on TikTok , touching millions. Later, she even got a free ticket to reunite with her love

"Cha tiên sư bố nhà mày. Ăn ở thất đức nên trời hành nhà mày. Năm nay trời lại bắt một đứa nữa nhà mày thi đỗ đại học. Thế là nhà mày ba đứa học đại học, đứa còn lại phải đỗ thạc sĩ. Cho nhà mày chết đi. Đồ độc ác kia!"

Quái lạ! Sao lại có chuyện lạ thế này? Con nhà người ta học đại học mà lại bảo trời hành, trời phạt là sao?

Tôi hỏi bà tại sao lại chửi dữ vậy? Bà thong thả giải thích:
"Bác bảo nuôi ba đứa học đại học tốn có ít tiền đâu. Phải bán cả đất đi lo cho con học đại học. Học xong lại tốn bao nhiêu tiền đi xin việc mà đâu có được. Bây giờ thằng đầu đỗ thạc sĩ thì chạy xe ôm. Đứa con gái cũng cử nhân giờ đi gội đầu, mà nghe đâu kiêm cả ca ve, gái gọi... Còn đứa thứ ba lại đỗ đại học. Như thế chả là trời phạt nhà nó à."

Tôi lại hỏi:
"Thế nhà bà không phải đi đại học đứa nào à?"

Bà ta cười:
"Không bác ạ! Con nhà em lo nuôi vịt, nuôi lợn, buôn chổi đót, lá chít, chạy xe ôm...

Bây giờ đứa nào cũng giàu nứt đố đổ vách, xây cả biệt phủ. Bọn báo chí vừa rồi chụp ảnh biệt phủ nhà em làm mẫu và nêu gương điển hình tiên tiến trong làm kinh tế đấy!"

Nghe bà nói tôi cảm thấy ngượng về sự ngây thơ và kém hiểu biết của mình.
