Greek Psari Plaki – Baked Fish with Tomatoes & Onions

A wholesome Greek dish of white fish fillets baked with olive oil, tomato, onion, and garlic — fresh, vibrant, and olive-oil rich.

Ingredients (Serves 2):

* 2 white fish fillets (sea bass, cod, or snapper)
* 1 onion, sliced
* 2 cloves garlic, minced
* 2 tomatoes, chopped (or 200g canned)
* 2 tbsp chopped parsley
* 1 tsp oregano
* Olive oil, lemon juice, salt, pepper

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
2. Sauté onions and garlic in olive oil. Add tomatoes, oregano, parsley, and simmer briefly.
3. Place fish in a baking dish. Pour tomato mixture over top.
4. Drizzle with olive oil and lemon. Bake 20–25 minutes.
5. Serve hot with rice, potatoes, or crusty bread.
