Democratic Senator Mark Kelly sharply criticized President Trump, claiming that Americans are struggling more now than before his administration. During a press conference, Kelly said, “In one year, Donald Trump has made the American people poorer and less safe. Half of Americans are having a hard time affording food. To give a big giant tax cut to the wealthiest Americans, Donald Trump, in a year, is kicking hundreds of thousands, if not more than a million people off of their healthcare.”

Kelly highlighted the struggles of young people and his constituents in Arizona, noting that many cannot afford housing and are facing financial insecurity. He emphasized that while Americans suffer, the president remains focused on enriching himself, leaving ordinary citizens worse off than before.
