On November 23, 2025, staff at Wat Rat Prakhong Tham temple in Nonthaburi, Thailand were preparing for what seemed like a normal cremation.

A 65-year-old woman had been declared unresponsive. Her family believed she had passed after years of illness.

But just before the process began…

They heard something.

A faint sound.
A knock… from inside the coffin.

At first, it was almost impossible to believe.

But the sound came again.

Staff immediately opened it — and found she was still alive.

She was rushed to the hospital, where she could finally receive proper care.

The temple later said it would even help cover her medical costs.
