• In Japan, a Domino’s employee named Umanami Futoshi became an internet sensation after completing one of the most unusual deliveries ever. He reportedly hiked for nearly six hours up Mount Fuji to deliver a pizza to a climber waiting at the summit. With no drones, vehicles, or shortcuts, he carried the pizza in a heat-insulated bag while climbing steep volcanic trails and facing cold mountain winds.

The order cost around $962 and was part of Domino’s Japan’s “deliver anywhere” campaign. What started as a creative marketing idea quickly turned into an impressive display of determination and dedication. Step by step, through exhaustion and thin mountain air, Futoshi kept going until he reached the 3,776-meter peak.

When he finally arrived, the climber received more than just a hot pizza. He received a memorable story about effort, humor, and pride in work, proving that sometimes even a simple delivery can become an extraordinary adventure.

This massive expenditure is being driven by a high-intensity "burn rate" of expensive precision-guided munitions used during the initial waves of strikes #IranWar #PentagonReport #MilitarySpending

  • LED Aircraft Cabin-Lighting Market: Growth, Trends, and Global Forecast 2032

According to our latest research, the Global LED Aircraft Cabin-Lighting market size was valued at $1.12 billion in 2024 and is projected to reach $2.27 billion by 2033, expanding at a robust CAGR of 8.2% during the forecast period of 2024–2033. The primary factor fueling the growth of the LED Aircraft Cabin-Lighting market globally is the increasing demand for energy-efficient, lightweight, and customizable lighting solutions that enhance passenger comfort while reducing airline operating costs. Airlines and aircraft manufacturers are actively upgrading cabin interiors to improve passenger experience and operational efficiency, which has led to a surge in the adoption of advanced LED lighting systems across commercial, business, and military aviation segments. This trend is further amplified by the growing emphasis on sustainability and the need to comply with stringent regulatory standards related to energy consumption and environmental impact.

  • Officials from the United States Department of Defense told senators in a closed-door briefing that the first six days of the w@r involving Iran have already cost more than $11.3 billion.

According to three sources familiar with the briefing, much of the cost comes from military operations and the replacement of munitions used during the conflict.

Chris Coons said the real cost could be even higher, noting that the estimate does not include every aspect of the w@r.

He added that the replacement cost of munitions alone is already “well beyond $10 billion.”

A spokesperson for the Pentagon declined to comment on the private briefing, saying the full cost will only be known once the mission ends.

The estimate comes as the administration considers requesting additional funding from Congress.
