Three-year-old Ryker Webb vanished while playing outside his home in Troy with the family dog . His father had stepped inside briefly, but when he returned, Ryker was gone. Search teams launched a massive operation , using ATVs, drones, dogs, boats, and even helicopters from the Montana Air National Guard. Over 50 people searched tirelessly, but harsh weather and rough terrain made it incredibly difficult.

Clues emerged when investigators noticed overturned rocks along a trail—Ryker loved bugs and had likely been flipping them as he wandered deeper into the woods.

After two terrifying days, hope returned . A couple at a nearby cabin heard noises from their generator shed. Inside, they found Ryker—alive. He had survived by crawling into a lawnmower bag for warmth, sleeping there for two nights.

Rescuers carried him out safely, ending a miracle survival story .
