Over time, the staff began feeding her, keeping her warm during freezing days , and treating her like an unofficial mascot. She slowly became part of the store’s everyday life and the neighborhood’s routine.

Reports say a new manager later told employees to stop covering or caring for her. When temperatures dropped, a delivery courier quietly wrapped a blanket around Dodobonya anyway . The small act of kindness was caught on camera . Soon after, the courier was fired and allegedly blacklisted.

The story quickly went viral . Customers across Russia began canceling orders in protest . Many are demanding the courier be rehired, proper care for Dodobonya, and changes in management.
