GARLIC BUTTER LOBSTER & SCALLOPS

Ingredients:

For the Lobster:
2 lobster tails
¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon paprika
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, for garnish
Lemon wedges, for serving

For the Scallops:
½ lb sea scallops, patted dry
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, for garnish

Directions:

Lobster Preparation:
1⃣ Prepare Lobster Tails: Using kitchen shears, cut along the top of each shell and carefully pull the lobster meat up to rest on top of the shell.

2⃣ Garlic Butter: In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper. Brush the mixture generously over the lobster meat.

3⃣ Broil Lobster: Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet and broil for 8-10 minutes, basting with the garlic butter halfway through. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges.

Scallop Preparation:
1⃣ Sear the Scallops: In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the scallops with salt and pepper, then place them in the skillet. Sear for 2-3 minutes per side until they are golden brown. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

2⃣ Garlic Butter: In the same skillet, melt the butter and add the minced garlic, cooking for about 1 minute until fragrant. Return the scallops to the pan, coating them in the garlic butter.

Serve: Plate the lobster tails and scallops together, drizzle with any remaining garlic butter from the skillet, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve with lemon wedges for a fresh, zesty finish.
