Garlic Butter Baked Scallops

Ingredients:
- 1 lb (450g) scallops
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lemon wedges for serving

Preparation Steps:
1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Rinse the scallops under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
3. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 2 minutes.
4. Remove from heat and stir in breadcrumbs, parsley, paprika, salt, and pepper.
5. Place the scallops on a baking dish and spoon the garlic butter mixture over each scallop.
6. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, until the scallops are opaque and cooked through.
7. Serve warm with lemon wedges on the side.
