Khoảng 33 năm nay, ông Lưu Công Huyền (66 tuổi, ở xã Giao Yến, huyện Giao Thủy, tỉnh Nam Định) bỗng có một sở thích là nuôi móng tay. Bộ móng của ông hiện dài lòng thòng, xoăn lượn sóng, chiếc móng dài nhất lên tới khoảng 1m, là móng tay cái của bàn tay trái.

Sợ gãy nên 33 năm qua, ông Huyền không bao giờ rửa tay, khiến những chiếc móng bám đầy bụi bẩn, xi măng, màu mực,... do ông làm nghề vẽ tranh, đắp phù điêu. Ông Huyền bảo, chỉ cần bộ móng tay này bị nhúng vào nước một lúc thì sẽ bị mềm ra rồi gãy.

Để giữ gìn được bộ móng độc lạ, phần lớn nhờ công của bà Nguyễn Thị Thuận, vợ ông Huyền. Bà Thuận nói, bà chăm ông từ A-Z, như một đứa trẻ. Bởi ông Huyền rất quý bộ móng tay của mình nên hạn chế tối đa việc động vào nó, sợ sẽ gãy mất.

Khi được hỏi nếu bây giờ có ai đó muốn mua bộ móng tay để trưng bày, ông Huyền có đồng ý bán hay không? Thì dị nhân Nam Định cho biết sẽ bán. Ông mong muốn có thể bán được bộ móng với giá 7 tỷ đồng.
