  • Lithuanian Kepta Žuvis – Baked Whole Fish

    A simple yet flavorful Baltic dish — whole freshwater fish seasoned with dill and lemon, baked until flaky and golden.

    Ingredients (Serves 2):

    * 1 whole trout or carp (cleaned, ~600–700g)
    * 2 garlic cloves, sliced
    * Fresh dill
    * Lemon slices
    * 1 tbsp butter or oil
    * Salt and black pepper

    Instructions:

    1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
    2. Season fish inside and out with salt and pepper. Stuff with garlic, dill, and lemon slices.
    3. Place on baking sheet, dot with butter. Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden and cooked through.
