An adorable cat named Dorito has taken over social media — and many people were convinced her giant, deep eyes had to be created with AI.

But they’re completely real.

Dorito was born with a rare medical condition that gave her those unusually large, expressive eyes. After being rescued, she went through a remarkable recovery with the help of dedicated caretakers.

Photos of her transformation quickly went viral, with thousands of people falling in love with her unique look.

Today, Dorito is living a happy life with her adoptive family — proving that behind those mystical eyes is a tiny survivor with a huge story.

“It seems like you actually don’t have a good understanding of the facts, Congresswoman,” Mohyeldin said.
