Golden Crispy Cassava Fritters with Herbs and Spices
Ingredients:
2 cups grated fresh cassava (or thawed frozen grated cassava)
1 egg
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 tablespoons chopped cilantro or parsley
1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
1/4 teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
Salt and pepper, to taste
Oil, for frying
Directions:
In a large bowl, mix the grated cassava, egg, onion, garlic, herbs, turmeric, chili flakes (if using), salt, and pepper until well combined.
Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Scoop spoonfuls of the cassava mixture and gently flatten them into small fritters.
Fry in batches, 2–3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy.
Drain on paper towels and serve hot with dipping sauce of your choice—great with spicy mayo or garlic aioli.

Mới đây, PGS.TS Nguyễn Hữu Huân, chuyên gia Trường Đại học Kinh tế TP.HCM, cho rằng việc đánh thuế giao dịch vàng là phù hợp với xu hướng của thị trường, bởi trên thế giới, nhiều quốc gia đã áp dụng thuế đối với sản phẩm vàng.
“Chắc chắn phải đánh thuế, tuy nhiên đánh thuế bao nhiêu phần trăm mới là vấn đề cần tính toán”, chuyên gia Huân nhận định.
Theo ông, vàng là một loại tài sản. Mà đã là tài sản thì có khả năng sinh lời - tương tự bất động sản hay chứng khoán - thì đều là đối tượng chịu thuế tại nhiều quốc gia. Ở Việt Nam hiện nay, bất động sản đã bị đánh thuế, chứng khoán cũng đã chịu thuế, vậy không có lý do gì vàng lại nằm ngoài diện bị đánh thuế.
