Beef and Napa Cabbage Stir-Fry
Savory Beef and Napa Cabbage in Ginger-Garlic Stir-Fry Sauce
Ingredients:
1 lb (450g) beef sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced
4 cups Napa cabbage, chopped
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 tablespoon sesame oil
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
1 small onion, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
1 teaspoon cornstarch
2 tablespoons water
Salt and pepper to taste
Sliced green onions and sesame seeds for garnish
Directions:
In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, cornstarch, and water. Set aside.
Heat vegetable oil and sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
Add garlic, ginger, and onion; stir-fry for 1โ2 minutes until fragrant.
Add beef slices and stir-fry for 3โ4 minutes until browned and just cooked through.
Add chopped Napa cabbage and cook for 2โ3 minutes, until slightly wilted but still crisp.
Pour in the sauce mixture and stir well to coat all ingredients. Cook another 1โ2 minutes until sauce thickens.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
