    Ingredients:

    1 lb beef stew meat, cut into bite-sized pieces

    2 tablespoons olive oil

    1 large onion, chopped

    3 carrots, peeled and diced

    2 celery stalks, diced

    1 cup pearl barley

    6 cups beef broth

    Directions:
