    Bold and Creamy Spicy Cajun Chicken Pasta with Peppers and Parmesan

    Ingredients:

    12 oz fettuccine or penne pasta

    2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced into strips

    2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning

    2 tablespoons olive oil

    1 red bell pepper, sliced

    1 green bell pepper, sliced

    1 small onion, thinly sliced

    3 cloves garlic, minced

    1 cup heavy cream

    1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

    1/2 cup chicken broth

    Salt and black pepper to taste

    Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

    Directions:

    Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

    Toss chicken strips with Cajun seasoning until evenly coated.

    Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove chicken and set aside.

    In the same skillet, sauté onion and bell peppers for 4-5 minutes until tender. Add garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.

    Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Bring to a simmer and let cook for 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.

    Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

    Return chicken to the skillet and toss with the sauce. Add cooked pasta and toss everything together until well coated and heated through.

    Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
