    Ingredients:

    1 medium green cabbage, cored and cut into wedges

    1 tablespoon olive oil or unsalted butter

    1/2 teaspoon salt

    1/4 teaspoon black pepper

    1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)

    1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

    1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional)

    Directions:

    Fill a large pot with 1–2 inches of water and fit it with a steamer basket. Bring the water to a boil.

    Place cabbage wedges in the steamer basket. Cover with a lid.
