Ingredients
For the Reuben Balls:
1 pound ground beef or corned beef
1 cup sauerkraut, drained and chopped
1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
1 cup breadcrumbs
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon caraway seeds (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
For the Spicy Thousand Island Dipping Sauce:
1 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons horseradish sauce
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon hot sauce (adjust to taste)
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Prepare the Reuben Mixture:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef or corned beef, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, caraway seeds (if using), and season with salt and pepper. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are evenly combined.
Shape into Balls:
Roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
