One Hour Garlic Parmesan Pull-Apart Bread

One Hour Garlic Parmesan Pull-Apart Bread

Ingredients:

For the dough:

2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast (1 packet)
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
3/4 cup warm water (110°F)
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp melted butter
For the garlic butter:

1/4 cup unsalted butter (melted)
3 cloves garlic (minced)
2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp dried oregano (optional)
Instructions:

Make the dough:

In a large mixing bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until the mixture becomes frothy.
Add the flour, salt, olive oil, and melted butter to the yeast mixture. Stir until a dough forms.
Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic. Alternatively, use a stand mixer with a dough hook for ease.
Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for 20-30 minutes, or until it doubles in size.
Shape the bread:

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a bundt pan or 9-inch round cake pan with butter or cooking spray.
Punch down the dough and divide it into 16-20 small dough balls. Roll each ball into a ball shape.
Arrange the dough balls in the prepared pan, stacking them slightly on top of each other.
Make the garlic butter:

In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, Parmesan cheese, and oregano (if using).
Pour the garlic butter mixture over the dough balls, making sure they are all coated with the flavorful goodness.
Bake:

Place the pan in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the bread sounds hollow when tapped.
If the top begins to brown too quickly, cover with foil and continue baking until done.
Serve:

Let the bread cool for a few minutes before pulling apart and serving. Enjoy with a side of marinara sauce or as a delicious side to your favorite meal!
