## Seared Scallops with Lemon Butter Cream Sauce 🍋

Ingredients:
- 1 pound fresh sea scallops
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 lemon, zest and juice
- Fresh parsley for garnish

Directions:

Step 1: Pan-Sear the Scallops
Pat dry the scallops with paper towels and season with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over high heat. Sear scallops for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove from the pan and set aside.

Step 2: Make the Lemon Butter Cream Sauce
In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream, lemon zest, and juice. Stir and simmer until the sauce thickens slightly.

Step 3: Combine Scallops with Sauce
Return the seared scallops to the skillet, coating them in the lemon butter cream sauce. Allow the scallops to heat through for a minute or two.
