Spicy Beef Stir Fry Recipe
Ingredients:
1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1 red bell pepper, chopped
1 green onions, chopped
1 onion, sliced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup oyster sauce
1 tbsp honey
1 tsp sesame oil
Red pepper flakes, to taste
Instructions:
Marinate the beef: In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with cornstarch. Mix well to coat the beef evenly.
Heat the wok: Over high heat, heat the vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet.
Stir-fry the beef: Add the marinated beef to the hot wok and stir-fry until browned on all sides. Remove the beef from the wok and set aside.
Stir-fry the vegetables: Add the bell peppers, onion, and garlic to the wok and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until they are slightly softened.
Add the sauce: In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce, oyster sauce, honey, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes. Pour the sauce over the vegetables and stir-fry for another minute.
Return the beef: Add the cooked beef back to the wok, add the chopped green onions and toss everything together to combine.
Serve: Remove the stir-fry from the heat and serve hot with rice or noodles.
