Honey Glazed Salmon

Honey Glazed Salmon

Ingredients:
4 salmon fillets (skin-on or skinless)
2 tbsp olive oil
1/4 cup honey
2 tbsp soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tbsp lemon juice (fresh or bottled)
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 tsp ground ginger (optional, for extra flavor)
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley or cilantro, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions:
Prepare the glaze:

In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, minced garlic, and ground ginger (if using). Set aside.
Cook the salmon:

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.
Place the salmon fillets in the skillet, skin-side down (if using skin-on) and cook for about 4-5 minutes, until the skin is crispy and the salmon starts to cook through.
Flip the fillets and cook for another 2-4 minutes, depending on the thickness of the salmon, until it's cooked to your desired doneness. You can also cook the salmon in the oven at 400°F (200°C) for 10-12 minutes, if you prefer.
Glaze the salmon:

Once the salmon is cooked, reduce the heat to low and pour the honey glaze over the salmon fillets.
Allow the glaze to bubble and thicken for about 2-3 minutes, spooning the glaze over the fillets as it cooks. Be careful not to burn the glaze.
Serve:

Remove the salmon from the skillet and drizzle with the remaining glaze.
Garnish with fresh parsley or cilantro and serve with lemon wedges for an extra burst of freshness.
