Oven-Roasted Sweet Potato Fries

Ingredients:

3 medium sweet potatoes, peeled
2 tsp (5 g) cornstarch
2 tsp (10 mL) vegetable oil
1 tsp (2 g) onion powder
1 tsp (1 g) dried oregano
½ tsp paprika powder
½ tsp salt
Instructions:

Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
Prepare the Sweet Potatoes:
Cut the peeled sweet potatoes into thin fries, about 1/4 inch thick. Try to keep them uniform in size for even cooking.
Coat the Fries:
In a large bowl, combine the sweet potato fries with cornstarch, vegetable oil, onion powder, dried oregano, paprika powder, and salt. Toss until the fries are evenly coated.
Arrange on Baking Sheet:
Spread the coated sweet potato fries in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, making sure they are not overcrowded. This helps them get crispy.
Roast:
Roast in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the fries are golden brown and crispy.
Serve:
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy your sweet potato fries with your favorite dips!
Dip Ideas:
