Savory Baked Brie with Lavender, Pistachios, and Pear

Ingredients:
- 1 round Brie cheese (about 8 ounces)
- 1 sheet of puff pastry (thawed)
- 1/4 cup chopped pistachios
- 1 medium ripe pear, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp dried culinary lavender
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Salt to taste
- Fresh rosemary sprigs for garnish (optional)
Directions:
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface until it is about 1/8 inch thick.
3. Place the Brie cheese in the center of the puff pastry.
4. Arrange the thinly sliced pear on top of the Brie.
5. In a small bowl, mix the chopped pistachios, honey, dried lavender, and a pinch of salt. Spread this mixture evenly over the pears and Brie.
6. Fold the edges of the puff pastry over the Brie, pleating it as you go to create a neat package. Trim any excess pastry if necessary.
7. Beat the egg in a small bowl. Brush the egg wash over the pastry to give it a golden color while baking.
8. Place the wrapped Brie on the prepared baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and puffed.
9. Remove from the oven and let it cool for about 5 minutes. Garnish with fresh rosemary sprigs if desired.
