🐟 Mediterranean Baked Fish 🍋

Ingredients:

4 fish fillets (cod, sea bass, or snapper)
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
½ cup black olives, pitted and sliced
¼ cup capers, drained
1 lemon, thinly sliced
¼ cup chopped fresh parsley
¼ cup chopped fresh basil
Instructions:

Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Prepare the Baking Dish:
Lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil.
Season the Fish:
Place the fish fillets in the baking dish. Season both sides with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
Add the Toppings:
In a bowl, combine the minced garlic, cherry tomatoes, black olives, and capers. Drizzle with olive oil and toss to coat.
Spread the mixture evenly over the fish fillets. Top with thin lemon slices.
Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
Garnish and Serve:
Once cooked, remove the dish from the oven and sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley and basil before serving.
