🌮 Sheet Pan Taco Bake 🍽️

Ingredients:

1 refrigerated puff pastry sheet
1 lb. ground beef
1/4 cup onion, chopped
1 packet taco seasoning
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1 cup water
3 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
1 1/2 cups green lettuce, chopped
1 cup black olives, sliced
1 cup cocktail tomatoes, sliced
1/4 cup ranch dressing or sour cream
Instructions:

Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Prepare the Puff Pastry:
Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface to fit your baking sheet. Place it on a greased sheet pan and set aside.
Cook the Beef Mixture:
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and chopped onion until the beef is browned and the onion is soft. Drain any excess fat.
Stir in the taco seasoning, garlic powder, paprika, and water. Cook for about 5 minutes, or until the mixture thickens slightly.
Assemble the Taco Bake:
Spread the beef mixture evenly over the puff pastry on the sheet pan.
Sprinkle 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese over the beef mixture.
Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Add Toppings:
Once out of the oven, top the taco bake with chopped lettuce, sliced black olives, and sliced cocktail tomatoes. Drizzle with ranch dressing or sour cream.
Serve:
Cut into squares and serve warm. Enjoy this easy and delicious taco-inspired dish!
