🧀 Cheddar-Crusted Ground Beef and Rice Casserole 🍚✨

Ingredients:

1 lb ground beef
1 cup cooked rice
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup tomato sauce
1 small onion, diced
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:

Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Cook the Ground Beef:
In a large skillet over medium heat, add the diced onion and cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon. Drain any excess fat.
Combine Ingredients:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked ground beef and onion mixture with cooked rice, shredded cheddar cheese (reserve some for topping), sour cream, tomato sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
Transfer to Casserole Dish:
Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13-inch casserole dish, spreading it evenly. Top with the reserved cheddar cheese.
Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Garnish and Serve:
Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
