Dragon Sauce

Ingredients:

2 tbsp vegetable oil
½ inch piece of fresh ginger, minced
1 large garlic clove, minced
1 tbsp cornstarch
4 tbsp water
1 tsp chili flakes
2 tbsp white vinegar
Instructions:

Heat the Oil:
In a small saucepan, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
Sauté Aromatics:
Add the minced ginger and garlic to the pan. Sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn them.
Prepare the Sauce:
In a separate bowl, mix the cornstarch with the water until smooth. Add the chili flakes and white vinegar to the mixture.
Combine:
Pour the cornstarch mixture into the saucepan with the sautéed ginger and garlic. Stir well to combine and bring to a gentle simmer. Cook for a few minutes until the sauce thickens.
Serve:
