Reese’s Peanut Butter No-Bake Bars

Reese’s Peanut Butter No-Bake Bars
Ingredients:
For the base:
1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs (about 12 full graham crackers, crushed)
1 cup powdered sugar
1 cup peanut butter (smooth or crunchy, as per preference)
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
For the topping:
1 ½ cups milk chocolate chips (or semi-sweet chocolate chips)
1 tablespoon peanut butter (optional, for extra creaminess in the topping)
Instructions:
Prepare the Base:

In a large mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, powdered sugar, and peanut butter.
Pour in the melted butter and stir everything together until the mixture is well-combined and crumbly, but holds together when pressed. If it's too dry, add a little more peanut butter; if it's too wet, add a few more graham cracker crumbs.
Press the Base:

Line an 8x8-inch (or 9x9-inch) baking dish with parchment paper for easy removal, or lightly grease the dish.
Pour the peanut butter mixture into the prepared dish and press it down evenly with the back of a spoon or your hands to form the base layer.
Prepare the Topping:

In a microwave-safe bowl, add the chocolate chips and 1 tablespoon of peanut butter (if using). Microwave the mixture in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval until smooth and fully melted (about 1-1.5 minutes total).
Alternatively, you can melt the chocolate and peanut butter together in a double boiler on the stovetop.
Spread the Topping:

Once the chocolate mixture is smooth, pour it over the peanut butter base and use a spatula to spread it evenly over the top.
Chill the Bars:

Refrigerate the bars for at least 2 hours, or until the chocolate topping has fully set and the bars are firm.
Serve:

Once set, remove the bars from the fridge and cut them into squares or rectangles.
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
