Easy Crockpot Ravioli Lasagna

Easy Crockpot Ravioli Lasagna
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 (24 oz) jar marinara sauce (or any pasta sauce you prefer)
1 (25 oz) package frozen cheese ravioli
2 cups ricotta cheese
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp dried basil
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional for a little heat)
Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
Cook the Meat:
In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain any excess fat. Add the chopped onion and garlic, and sauté until the onion is softened (about 3-4 minutes). Season with salt, pepper, basil, oregano, and red pepper flakes (if using). Stir in the marinara sauce and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat.

Layer the Crockpot:
Lightly spray the inside of your crockpot with cooking spray. Start by adding a thin layer of the meat sauce mixture to the bottom. Then, add a layer of frozen ravioli (do not thaw the ravioli). Top with some ricotta cheese and a sprinkle of mozzarella and Parmesan.

Continue Layering:
Repeat the layering process: add more meat sauce, then ravioli, and top with cheese. Make sure the final layer is sauce and cheese.

Cook:
Cover the crockpot and cook on low for about 4-5 hours, or until the ravioli is tender and the cheese is melted and bubbly. You can also cook on high for about 2-3 hours, but keep an eye on it to avoid overcooking.

Serve:
Once done, give everything a gentle stir and serve hot! Garnish with fresh basil or more Parmesan cheese if you like.
