Garlic Butter Honey BBQ Beef Tacos

Garlic Butter Honey BBQ Beef Tacos
Ingredients:
For the Beef:
1 lb ground beef or beef strips
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup honey
1/3 cup BBQ sauce
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
For the Taco Sauce:
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon BBQ sauce
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
For Assembly:
6 soft taco tortillas
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Chopped fresh cilantro (optional)
Directions:
Cook the Beef:
In a large skillet, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Add the ground beef (or beef strips) to the skillet. Season with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika. Cook until the beef is browned and cooked through, breaking it apart if using ground beef.
Add the Sauce:
Once the beef is cooked, reduce the heat to low. Stir in the honey and BBQ sauce, mixing well to coat the beef evenly. Let it simmer for a few minutes until heated through.
Make the Taco Sauce:
In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, honey, BBQ sauce, and smoked paprika. Mix until smooth and set aside.
Assemble the Tacos:
Warm the soft taco tortillas in a skillet or microwave.
Spoon the garlic honey BBQ beef mixture onto each tortilla. Top with shredded cheddar cheese and drizzle with the taco sauce.
Garnish:
If desired, sprinkle with chopped fresh cilantro for an extra burst of flavor.
