🥬 Cabbage Fat-burning Soup Recipe 🍲✨
Ingredients:
1 medium head of cabbage, chopped
1 large onion, chopped
2 large carrots, sliced
2 bell peppers (any color), chopped
3 celery stalks, chopped
1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
6 cups vegetable broth
1-2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried thyme
Salt and pepper, to taste
Optional:
½ teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon dried oregano
A pinch of red pepper flakes for extra flavor
Instructions:
Prepare the Vegetables:
In a large pot, heat a splash of olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic, sautéing until the onion is translucent.
Add the Vegetables:
Add the chopped cabbage, sliced carrots, chopped bell peppers, and chopped celery to the pot. Stir well to combine.
Add Tomatoes and Broth:
Pour in the can of diced tomatoes (with juices) and the vegetable broth. Stir to combine all the ingredients.
Season the Soup:
Add the dried thyme, salt, pepper, and any optional seasonings (smoked paprika, oregano, red pepper flakes) to taste.
Simmer:
Bring the soup to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 30-40 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender.
Serve:
