Beef Tenderloin Crostini with Parmesan Cream Sauce:

Ingredients:
For the Crostini:
1 baguette, sliced and toasted
Olive oil (for drizzling)
For the Beef:
1 pound beef tenderloin, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons olive oil
Salt and pepper, to taste
For the Parmesan Cream Sauce:
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon butter
Instructions:
Step 1: Prepare the Crostini
Toast the Bread:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange the baguette slices on a baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil, and toast in the oven for 5-7 minutes, or until golden and crispy. Set aside.
Step 2: Cook the Beef Tenderloin
Season the Beef:
Season the thinly sliced beef tenderloin with salt and pepper.
Sear the Beef:
Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the beef slices for 1-2 minutes per side, until browned but still tender. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Step 3: Make the Parmesan Cream Sauce
Sauté Garlic and Thyme:
In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the butter. Stir in the minced garlic and thyme leaves, cooking for 1 minute until fragrant.
Add the Cream and Cheese:
Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and cook until the sauce thickens slightly, about 3-4 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 4: Assemble the Crostini
Build the Layers:
Place a slice of seared beef tenderloin on each toasted baguette slice. Drizzle with the Parmesan cream sauce.
Garnish and Serve:
Garnish with a sprinkle of fresh thyme or additional Parmesan cheese, if desired. Serve warm.
