Ingredients:
1 tbsp neutral cooking oil
2 cloves garlic, finely minced
1-2 spring onions, finely chopped
1 red chili, finely chopped (adjust to taste)
1 block silken tofu, chilled
1-2 century eggs, peeled and sliced
1 tbsp light soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1/2 tbsp sesame oil
1/2 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tsp granulated sugar
Instructions:
Prepare the Sauce:
In a small bowl, mix together the light soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, and granulated sugar. Stir until the sugar is dissolved. Set aside.
Sauté the Aromatics:
In a small pan, heat the neutral cooking oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
Add the chopped spring onions and red chili to the pan, cooking for another minute until softened. Remove from heat and set aside.
