Ingredients:
1 kg chicken livers
2 cups chopped mushrooms
250 ml fresh cream
1 tbsp sundried tomatoes, chopped
1 onion, chopped
1 tsp garlic, minced
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tbsp seven colours grill seasoning
1 tsp chili flakes (adjust to taste)
1 tsp mixed herbs
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Prepare the Chicken Livers:
Rinse the chicken livers under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Trim any excess fat or connective tissue.
Sauté the Aromatics:
In a large skillet, heat a bit of oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sautéing until the onion is translucent.
Cook the Mushrooms:
Add the chopped mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they are soft and browned, about 5-7 minutes.
Add the Chicken Livers:
Increase the heat to medium-high and add the chicken livers to the skillet. Cook for about 5-6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are browned on the outside but still slightly pink inside.
Season the Mixture:
Stir in the paprika, ground cumin, seven colours grill seasoning, chili flakes, mixed herbs, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine.
Add Cream and Sundried Tomatoes:
Reduce the heat to low and pour in the fresh cream and sundried tomatoes. Stir gently and let it simmer for another 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
Serve:
