These Cheesy Garlic Chicken Wraps are a dream come true! Packed with tender chicken, melted cheese, and a delicious garlic sauce, they’re the ultimate comforting meal that comes together in no time. Perfect for a quick, satisfying dinner!
Ingredients: Chicken breasts, diced: 2 large
Large flour tortillas: 4
Shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese blend: 2 cups
Garlic cloves, minced: 3
Butter: 2 tbsp
Olive oil: 1 tbsp
Heavy cream: 120ml
Garlic powder: 1/4 tsp
Salt and pepper: to taste
Fresh parsley (for garnish, optional)
Method: Heat the olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the diced chicken and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Cook for 6-8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of butter and minced garlic. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Pour in the heavy cream and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes, allowing it to thicken slightly.
Stir in 1 1/2 cups of the shredded cheese until melted and smooth. If the sauce is too thick, add a little more cream or water to adjust the consistency.
Warm the tortillas slightly in a clean skillet or microwave. Place a portion of the cooked chicken in the centre of each tortilla.
Drizzle with the cheesy garlic sauce and sprinkle with the remaining shredded cheese.
Fold the tortillas tightly into wraps. Toast each wrap in a clean skillet for 1-2 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
Slice the wraps in half and serve hot. Garnish with fresh parsley for a pop of colour, if desired. Enjoy the melty, cheesy goodness!
