OnePlus is giving customers exactly what they’ve been asking for: a smaller version of its Watch 3 smartwatch. With a 43mm case, the smaller Watch 3 will be better for those with smaller wrists than the one-size-fits-all 46mm model that launched last year to generally high reviews.

The OnePlus Watch 43mm launches next month on July 8 in the U.S. and Canada, but the gadget company hasn’t announced pricing. With a smaller 1.32-inch display, we’re expecting the daintier smartwatch to cost less than the $350 46mm model.

Otherwise, the OnePlus Watch 43mm really is just a shrunken version that’s also thinner and lighter. OnePlus hasn’t shared full tech specs yet, but here’s what we know so far. It’s got a stainless steel case (available in Black Steel and Silver Steel), two buttons (including a crown that will hopefully do something other than serve as a fidget button), and a “real-time barometer” that OnePlus says can “evaluate your body’s level of fatigue every 30 minutes, and by extension what that reflects about your mental state.” The smartwatch also has stress-tracking with insights.

The best feature on the OnePlus Watch 3 46mm is easily its long battery life, which can last up to three days or up to 16 days with its “Power Saver” mode turned on. OnePlus achieved this with a unique dual-chipset design that uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 chip for most of WearOS’s operations and a lower-power BES 2800 chip to maintain long standby time and background activities. Fingers crossed that the 43mm has solid battery life too, though its physically more compact design may mean less room for a battery cell or no room for dual chipsets. Guess we’ll find out next month.

In addition to the Watch 3 43mm, OnePlus also announced new OnePlus Buds 4 wireless earbuds. These active noise cancellation (ANC) buds are coming out on the same day next month and, according to the company, sport “benchmark-setting, flagship-level sound quality,” “class-leading hi-res audio and LHDC 5.0,” and “immersive 3D spatial audio.” Other improvements appear to be better noise cancellation for voice calls and a new “adaptive mode” that automatically switches between ANC and transparency modes. I keep thinking ANC wireless earbuds can’t get better, but these incremental improvements show that there’s still more runway, so okay! Pricing should be similar to the OnePlus Buds 3, which go for $100.
