Caribbean Jerk Steak Bowl with Mango Cream Sauce

Caribbean Jerk Steak Bowl with Mango Cream Sauce
Ingredients:
- 1 lb flank steak
- 2 tbsp Caribbean jerk seasoning
- 2 cups cooked white rice
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
- 1/2 red onion, sliced
- 1 ripe mango, diced
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 lime, juiced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
- Cooking oil
Directions:
Step 1: Marinate the Steak
Season the flank steak with Caribbean jerk seasoning, ensuring it's evenly coated. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Step 2: Grill the Steak
Heat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Grill the steak for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness. Rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
Step 3: Make Mango Cream Sauce
In a blender, combine diced mango, sour cream, lime juice, salt, and pepper. Blend until smooth to make a creamy sauce.
Step 4: Sauté Vegetables
In a pan, heat some oil over medium heat. Sauté sliced bell peppers and red onion until tender-crisp, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 5: Assemble the Bowl
Divide rice among bowls, top with sliced steak, sautéed vegetables, and drizzle with mango cream sauce. Garnish with fresh cilantro.
