Get ready to enjoy a delicious BBQ Chicken Pizza that’s perfect for a family dinner or a fun gathering! Here’s how to make it from scratch:

Ingredients:
For the Pizza Dough:

1 Tbsp. yeast
1 cup warm water (about 110°F)
1 tsp. honey
1 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
2 1/2 cups flour
For the Pizza Toppings:

1 1/4 cup BBQ sauce (Sweet Baby Ray's recommended)
2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
1 1/4 cup cooked and shredded chicken
3/4 cup meatball bits (cooked and crumbled)
1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
1/4 cup cilantro, chopped (optional)
Instructions:
1. Make the Pizza Dough:
In a small bowl, combine the warm water, yeast, and honey. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until it becomes frothy.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt, and vegetable oil.
Pour the yeast mixture into the flour mixture and stir until a dough forms.
Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
2. Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
3. Prepare the Pizza:
Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
Transfer the rolled-out dough to a pizza stone or a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
4. Add the Toppings:
Spread the BBQ sauce evenly over the pizza dough.
Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
Add the cooked and shredded chicken, followed by the meatball bits.
Top with grated parmesan cheese.
5. Bake the Pizza:
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly and melted.
6. Garnish and Serve:
Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
If desired, sprinkle chopped cilantro over the top before slicing.
