🥟 Crispy Samosas with Spicy Mango Chutney 🌶️

Ingredients:
For the Samosas:

1 (17.3 ounce) package frozen samosa shells, thawed
1 pound ground lamb or beef
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
1/4 teaspoon turmeric
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Oil for frying
For the Mango Chutney:

1 cup diced mango
1/4 cup chopped cilantro
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 tablespoon lime juice
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions:
Prepare the Filling:
In a skillet over medium heat, add a little oil and sauté the chopped onion until translucent. Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
Add the ground lamb or beef to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spoon. Cook until browned.
Stir in the ground cumin, ground coriander, turmeric, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the spices are fragrant. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
Fill the Samosas:
Take a thawed samosa shell and place a spoonful of the meat filling in the center. Fold the shell over to form a triangle, sealing the edges with a little water. Repeat with the remaining shells and filling.
Fry the Samosas:
In a deep frying pan, heat oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully add the filled samosas in batches, frying until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Make the Mango Chutney:
In a bowl, combine the diced mango, chopped cilantro, chopped onion, lime juice, chili powder, cumin powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and adjust seasoning to taste.
Serve:
Serve the crispy samosas hot with the spicy mango chutney on the side for dipping. Enjoy this flavorful combination!
