Cheesecake Crescent Rolls Casserole
Ingredients:
2 cans (8 oz each) crescent rolls (preferably the seamless variety)
8 oz cream cheese (softened)
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional)
Powdered sugar, for dusting (optional)
Instructions:
Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Prepare the Filling: In a medium bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and sour cream until smooth and creamy. If you like a little extra flavor, mix in the cinnamon.
Assemble the Casserole:
Unroll one can of crescent rolls and lay them in the bottom of a greased 9x13-inch baking dish, pressing the seams together to form a crust.
Spread the cheesecake filling evenly over the crescent roll crust.
Top with Crescent Rolls: Unroll the second can of crescent rolls and place them over the cheesecake filling, pinching the seams together. Don’t worry if it’s not perfect — the dough will puff up and bake beautifully.
Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the filling is set.
Cool & Serve: Let the casserole cool for 10-15 minutes before slicing. For an extra sweet touch, dust with powdered sugar before serving!
